S’mores Coffee Frappe prepared according to the Wolf Ember recipe

S’mores Coffee Frappe

A blended dessert-style coffee inspired by campfire s’mores, with coffee, chocolate, marshmallow, and graham cracker flavors in one cold drink.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup strongly brewed coffee, cooled completely
  • 1 cup ice
  • 1/2 cup milk of choice
  • 1 tablespoon chocolate sauce, plus more for garnish if desired
  • 1 tablespoon marshmallow creme or marshmallow syrup
  • 1 to 2 teaspoons sugar or simple syrup, optional and to taste
  • 1 graham cracker sheet, crushed
  • Optional: whipped cream
  • Optional: mini marshmallows for garnish

Step-by-step instructions

1. Brew and cool the coffee.
Brew the coffee a little stronger than usual, then let it cool completely so it does not melt the ice too quickly.

2. Prepare the glass.
If desired, drizzle a little chocolate sauce around the inside of the glass and sprinkle a small amount of crushed graham cracker near the rim.

3. Blend the frappe.
Add the cooled coffee, ice, milk, chocolate sauce, marshmallow creme, and about half of the crushed graham cracker to a blender. Blend until smooth and thick.

4. Taste and adjust.
Taste the frappe before adding extra sugar or syrup. The chocolate and marshmallow may already provide enough sweetness. Add more only if you want it sweeter.

5. Pour and finish.
Pour into the prepared glass. Top with whipped cream, the remaining graham cracker crumbs, a small drizzle of chocolate sauce, or a few mini marshmallows if desired.

Wolf Ember tip

For a stronger coffee flavor, use less milk or freeze some brewed coffee into ice cubes ahead of time. As always, taste before adding extra sweetener so the coffee stays part of the drink instead of disappearing behind the toppings.
