Peach Paradise Sparkling Iced Tea prepared according to the Wolf Ember recipe

Peach Paradise Sparkling Iced Tea

A bright, refreshing iced tea with juicy peach flavor and a sparkling finish. This is an easy warm-weather drink that keeps the tea itself at the center instead of turning it into a syrup-heavy refresher.

Ingredients

  • 2 teaspoons Wolf Ember Peach Paradise tea, or the amount recommended for one strong cup
  • 3/4 cup hot water
  • 1/2 cup chilled sparkling water
  • 1 to 2 teaspoons honey or simple syrup, optional and to taste
  • 1 teaspoon fresh lemon juice
  • 1 cup ice
  • Optional: fresh peach slices and a lemon wheel for garnish

Step-by-step instructions

1. Steep the tea.
Add the Peach Paradise tea to 3/4 cup hot water and steep according to the package directions. Brew it slightly stronger than usual so the flavor stays noticeable after adding ice and sparkling water.

2. Sweeten while warm.
If using honey or simple syrup, stir it into the warm tea until fully dissolved.

3. Cool the tea.
Let the tea cool to room temperature, then chill it in the refrigerator until cold.

4. Build the drink.
Fill a tall glass with ice. Pour in the chilled Peach Paradise tea and add the fresh lemon juice.

5. Add the sparkle.
Top with 1/2 cup chilled sparkling water and stir gently so you keep as much carbonation as possible.

6. Garnish and serve.
Add fresh peach slices or a lemon wheel if desired. Serve immediately.

Pitcher version

For four servings, use 8 teaspoons Peach Paradise tea, 3 cups hot water, 2 cups chilled sparkling water, 4 teaspoons lemon juice, and sweetener to taste. Brew and chill the tea first, then add the sparkling water just before serving.

Wolf Ember tip

Taste the tea before adding sweetener. Peach Paradise already brings plenty of fruit character, so a little lemon and carbonation may be all it needs.
