Peach Paradise Italian Cream Soda Tea prepared according to the Wolf Ember recipe

Peach Paradise Italian Cream Soda Tea

A sparkling, dessert-style tea drink inspired by an Italian soda. Strong chilled Wolf Ember Peach Paradise tea is topped with sparkling water, a little fruit or vanilla syrup, a splash of cream, and whipped cream for a drink that feels indulgent without losing the tea underneath.

Ingredients

  • 2 teaspoons Wolf Ember Peach Paradise tea, or the amount recommended for one strong cup
  • 3/4 cup hot water
  • 1/2 cup chilled sparkling water
  • 1 to 2 tablespoons peach syrup, vanilla syrup, or simple syrup, to taste
  • 1 to 2 tablespoons half-and-half, heavy cream, or a creamy non-dairy alternative
  • 1 cup ice
  • Whipped cream, for topping
  • Optional: fresh peach slices or diced peach

Step-by-step instructions

1. Brew the tea strong.
Steep the Peach Paradise tea in 3/4 cup hot water according to the package directions. Brew it a little stronger than usual so the flavor remains noticeable after the ice, sparkling water, and cream are added.

2. Chill completely.
Let the tea cool to room temperature, then refrigerate until cold.

3. Build the tea base.
Fill a tall glass with ice. Pour in the chilled tea and add 1 tablespoon of syrup. Stir, taste, and add more only if you want additional sweetness.

4. Add the sparkle.
Pour in the chilled sparkling water and stir gently so you keep as much carbonation as possible.

5. Add the cream.
Slowly pour 1 to 2 tablespoons of cream over the top. For a layered look, leave it mostly unstirred. For a creamier drink, stir gently before topping.

6. Finish the drink.
Top with whipped cream and, if desired, fresh peach slices or diced peach. Serve immediately.

Wolf Ember tip

Taste the tea before you start adding syrup, and taste again as you build the drink. Fruit teas, syrups, and creamers all vary in sweetness, and the best balance is the one that suits your own preference. The tea should still be recognizable underneath the extras.

A note about cream and acidity

Very tart teas, citrus juice, or highly acidic fruit syrups can sometimes cause dairy cream to separate or curdle. If you are using a particularly tart tea or adding citrus, either keep the cream very light, choose a non-dairy creamer that handles acidity well, or skip the citrus entirely.

Other Wolf Ember teas that work well Italian-soda style

  • Mango Treat — Pair with mango, passion fruit, pineapple, or vanilla syrup. Fresh mango or pineapple pieces would also work well.
  • Hibiscus Berry — Pair with raspberry, strawberry, blackberry, cherry, or vanilla syrup. Fresh berries are a natural addition. Because hibiscus can be tart, a non-dairy creamer may give you the smoothest result.
  • Jasmine — Pair with peach, pear, lychee, honey, or vanilla syrup. Fresh peach, pear, or a few lychee pieces can add fruit without overwhelming the floral tea.
  • Moroccan Mint — Pair with vanilla, honey, peach, or light berry syrup. Fresh mint, peach slices, or berries work well. Avoid adding much lemon if you also plan to use dairy cream.
  • Earl Grey — Pair with vanilla, lavender, blackberry, or peach syrup. Fresh blackberries or peach slices complement the bergamot nicely.
  • Apple Cider Rooibos — Pair with caramel, maple, vanilla, apple, or cinnamon syrup. Thin apple slices or diced pear work especially well.
  • English Breakfast — Pair with vanilla, caramel, brown sugar, blackberry, or peach syrup. Fresh berries or peach slices can turn it into a more fruit-forward cream soda tea.

Flavor-building idea

Use the tea as the base, then choose one complementary fruit direction rather than piling on several flavors at once. For example: Peach Paradise + peach syrup + fresh peach, or Earl Grey + vanilla syrup + blackberries. Keeping the flavor combination focused makes it easier to taste the tea itself.
