Maple cinnamon coffee latte with foam, cinnamon and maple syrup

Maple Cinnamon French Roast Latte

A cozy fall latte built around the bold, smoky flavor of Wolf Ember French Roast, softened with maple and cinnamon. Make it hot for a cool morning or pour it over ice when October still feels like summer.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup strongly brewed Wolf Ember French Roast coffee
  • 1/2 cup milk of choice
  • 1 tablespoon pure maple syrup
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Pinch of salt
  • Optional: whipped cream and a light dusting of cinnamon

Step-by-step instructions

1. Brew the coffee.
Brew 1 cup of Wolf Ember French Roast a little stronger than usual so the coffee flavor stays prominent after the milk and maple are added.

2. Warm the milk.
Heat the milk in a small saucepan or microwave until hot but not boiling.

3. Add the fall flavors.
Stir the maple syrup, cinnamon, vanilla, and a tiny pinch of salt into the warm milk.

4. Froth the milk.
Use a handheld frother, whisk, or French press to create a light layer of foam.

5. Build the latte.
Pour the hot French Roast into your mug, then slowly add the maple-cinnamon milk. Spoon the foam over the top.

6. Finish and serve.
Add whipped cream if you like and dust lightly with cinnamon. Serve immediately.

Iced version

Let the brewed coffee cool slightly. Fill a tall glass with ice, add the maple syrup, cinnamon, vanilla, and coffee, then stir well. Pour cold milk over the top and finish with cold foam if desired.

Wolf Ember tip

French Roast works especially well here because its deeper roast profile keeps the drink tasting like coffee instead of becoming overly sweet. Start with 1 tablespoon of maple syrup and add more only if you prefer a sweeter latte.
