Mango Matcha Lemonade
Share
A bright, refreshing drink that layers earthy matcha with sweet mango and tart lemonade. It is colorful, easy to customize, and works especially well as a warm-weather alternative to a milk-based matcha latte.
Ingredients
- 1 1/2 teaspoons Wolf Ember ceremonial matcha
- 2 to 3 tablespoons warm water
- 1/2 cup mango nectar or mango juice
- 1/2 cup lemonade
- 1 cup ice
- Optional: 1 to 2 teaspoons honey or simple syrup, to taste
- Optional: fresh mango pieces or a lemon wheel for garnish
Step-by-step instructions
1. Prepare the matcha.
Add the matcha to a small bowl or cup. Pour in the warm water and whisk or froth until smooth and no clumps remain.
2. Build the fruit base.
Fill a tall glass with ice. Pour in the mango nectar and lemonade, then stir gently.
3. Taste before sweetening.
Try the mango-lemonade mixture first. Depending on the brands you use, it may already be sweet enough. Add honey or simple syrup only if you want more sweetness.
4. Add the matcha.
Slowly pour the prepared matcha over the mango lemonade for a layered look, or stir everything together for an even flavor.
5. Finish and serve.
Add fresh mango pieces or a lemon wheel if desired. Serve immediately.
Wolf Ember tip
Taste each component before adding extras. Mango nectar and lemonade can vary a lot in sweetness, so build the drink gradually and adjust it to your own preference rather than assuming it needs more sugar.
